Fire and Smoke Detection System Using Arduino

In today's technology-driven world, the rising risk of fire hazards has made safeguarding property and human life a critical priority. This growing concern emphasizes the need for reliable and efficient fire detection systems. Recent advancements in microcontrollers and sensor technologies have paved the way for developing cost-effective and dependable solutions. Our project leverages these innovations by designing a cutting-edge fire and smoke detection system utilizing Arduino and specialized sensors to ensure constant vigilance against potential fire threats.

The system integrates a flame sensor and an MQ-2 Gas & Smoke sensor to monitor the environment continuously for signs of fire. Upon detecting smoke or flames, the system promptly activates an alarm to alert occupants and sends mobile notifications via a Bluetooth module, ensuring timely responses. This comprehensive approach not only enhances safety but also demonstrates the potential of modern technology to address critical challenges in fire hazard prevention effectively.
